01 / PLANNING GUIDE

What to include in a vision-system brief

A starting point for describing the scene, useful output and operating constraints.

Describe the scene

Provide representative sample images or data where available. Explain what is moving, what should be observed and where the sensor will be installed.

Define the useful output

Describe whether you need a detection, measurement, observation, alert or machine event. Explain who or what uses it next.

List the constraints

Include mounting, working distance, lighting, environmental conditions, existing hardware and expected interfaces.

Agree the evaluation

State which conditions the system must be tested under and which failure cases matter to the application.

02 / INTEGRATION CHECKLIST

Before selecting an edge AI platform

Map the complete processing path before deciding which computing hardware to use.

Map the data path

Identify camera inputs, preprocessing, model execution, outputs, storage and any network dependency.

Understand compatibility

List the required interfaces, software environment and model operations that the candidate platform needs to support.

Define physical constraints

Describe enclosure space, power availability, thermal management, installation and service access.

Evaluate the integrated workflow

Use representative inputs to review the complete processing path. Avoid treating a headline device specification as an application result.

03 / PROJECT GUIDE

From a concept to an evaluated prototype

Define the question, the evidence and the next decision before building.

Name the uncertainty

Write down the specific assumption the prototype should investigate before committing to implementation.

Keep the scope focused

Define which parts need to be functional, which can be simulated and which are outside the current evaluation.

Prepare the evidence

Agree on representative data, test conditions, reviewable outputs and a repeatable evaluation process.

Plan the next decision

Identify what would justify further development, a change in architecture or another focused evaluation.

MANUFACTURER INFORMATION

Go to the source.

For current product specifications, supported configurations and software documentation, consult the respective manufacturers.

External manufacturer references do not imply a partnership, endorsement or certification.

LET’S MAKE IT CLEAR

Good projects start
with good questions.

Explore what we do, how we collaborate and where our engineering focus begins.

Ask about your application
Do you supply components or develop complete systems?

Both. We support camera and optical selection as well as embedded hardware, vision software, AI integration and complete application development. The scope is agreed around your project.

Can you work with our existing cameras and hardware?

Yes. We can begin with the equipment and software you already use, then assess compatibility, integration effort and any gaps before proposing changes.

How do we begin when the technology is not yet clear?

Start with the application. Share the scene, operating conditions, intended decision and available samples. A discovery or feasibility phase can establish the right next step.

Which applications do you focus on?

Our focus is civilian: industry, agriculture, food and poultry operations, sports, research and commercial automation. We do not offer military or defense services.

Are you an official partner of the platform manufacturers?

Platform names and logos identify technologies we work with. They do not imply an official partnership, certification or endorsement.

What is the relationship between ZHAVROAD and the company?

ZHAVROAD is the trading name of Internatial Data systems LLC, based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
